Bob Dylan – Hurricane – Testo e Traduzione e Download

Hurricane è una canzone scritta da Bob Dylan e Jacques Levy, inserita nell’album del 1976 Desire.

Il brano narra la storia del pugile Rubin Carter, soprannominato appunto Hurricane, che fu ingiustamente condannato per un triplice omicidio commesso al Lafayett Bar, nel New Jersey, il 17 giugno 1966. Storia della quale Dylan venne a conoscenza leggendo The Sexteenth Round, autobiografia che lo stesso Carter gli aveva inviato.

Rubin Carter fu scarcerato solamente nel 1985, quando un giudice della Corte Federale sentenziò che non aveva avuto un processo equo, affermando che l’accusa era basata su motivazioni razziali.

Purtroppo su Youtube, come in nessun altro canale video, non si trova una versione originale di Dylan con un audio decente, così abbiamo optato per questa bella cover di Philip La Vere. L’unica modo per ascoltare l’originale è scaricarla su iTunes
