Peggy Lee – SC Fever – Con testo e traduzione

Fever è una canzone scritta Eddie Cooley e John Davenport nell’ormai lontanissimo 1956. Ad inciderla una prima volta è nello stesso anno tale Little Willie John ma a renderla una di grande successo è la versione di Peggy Lee del 1958.

Tra i tantissimi che si sono cimentati con Fever ci sono Madonna, Elvis Presley (nell’album Elvis Is Back!), Ray Charles con Natalie Cole, Bob Dylan, Brian Eno (nell’album Dali’s Car), The Doors, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Eva Cassidy, Tom Jones, Michael Bublé, James Brown, Amanda Lear, Beyoncè Knowles, Mina e il grandissimo Bruno Lauzi, che ne fa una versione ironica in italiano intitolata Garibaldi.
